This webpage is devoted to all of the music contained in the title collection. My MIDI performance file versions based on orininal versions of most of these songs, which are unequivocably in the Public Domain, can be found elsewhere on this website. The songs are listed here in the same order as they are in the book. These works were of course all arranged by Signmund Spaeth in the Barber Shop style, a style and method of arrangement which is very well examined and explained for each song in the book. This style is intended for a male quartet of (from highest pitch to low) 2nd Tenor, Lead (1st) Tenor, Baritone and Bass. The table below lists the original year of known copyright and the song's original credits (as much as is known).

I would like to mention three other books of his, of which the last, has been a definitive reference for this website:

    Read 'Em and Weep (1926)
55 Art Songs (1943) [Compiled and Edited by Sigmund Spaeth and Carl O. Thompson]
