History of Christian Music in Whales

The Welsh people were made Christian very early in the history of the church. As the Christian Church changed from the Apostolic Church into the Universal Church, then the Roman Catholic Church, Wales changed with those forces. When the Protestant Reformation was in progress, Wales came under the influence of the Established Church, but reacted against it - preferring to adopt Calvinistic Methodism. During that period, Wales underwent about four Revivals, which inspired Welsh poets and musicians to create some of the most beautiful, inspiring, and long-lasting hymns for the worship of God.
